It gave me goose bumps!

“Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen has become one of the most popular songs among singers from different countries. This song is very beautiful and powerful enough to touch millions of hearts.

There exist hundreds of various versions of this legendary song, and each of them is special and has its own charm and magnificence. However, this version by Jeff Buckley is the most favorite among folk music admirers.

The black-and-white video clip shows the talented singer performing the solemn song while playing the guitar. Many listeners call this version the most emotional they have ever heard.

Buckley’s death is still an incredible loss for the music industry. Did you know that his body was found in the river near a riverboat?

It was back in 1997. There were no drugs or alcohol in Buckley’s body so his death was announced as the result of an accidental drowning.

Jeff Buckley fell in love with this song when he first heard it in the early ’90s. Since then, he began to perform it and even included this song on his album.
